HALL OF FLAME MUSEUM OF FIREFIGHTING OPENED

AT 10 A.M. ON TUESDAY, JUNE 2nd

The Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting, the world’s largest museum of firefighting history, is pleased to announce that we will reopen to the public on Tuesday, June 2 at 10 a.m. Executive Director Chuck Montgomery and other representatives of the Hall of Flame will be available at 11 a.m. that day for media interviews (interviews prior to that date and time are also available).

Closed since mid-March, the Hall of Flame continues to take the current health crisis seriously. We ask that visitors continue to observe social distancing measures, remaining at least six feet away from persons not in your party and postponing your visit if you don’t feel well or have any symptoms of COVID-19; we also encourage the use of masks, gloves, sanitizer and other personal protective gear.

Also beginning June 2 The Hall of Flame Museum will observe new hours; we are now open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; closed Sundays and open Mondays only for pre-booked tours of ten people or more (we are also closed New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day). Admission is $10 for adults; $8 for seniors 62 and older; $8 for children ages 6-17; $4 for children ages 3-5. Admission is free to children ages 2 and younger, and to members (membership information is available by calling 602-275-3473). A variety of guided tours, school groups and other educational programs are available by appointment only.

Founded in 1961, the Hall of Flame Museum is a private non-profit organization that offers educational and outreach programs on fire safety and prevention to thousands of young people in Arizona every year. The mission of the Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting is to preserve the history and traditions of firefighting and to bring the message of fire and life safety to as many families as we can. We are located near the Phoenix Zoo at 6101 East Van Buren in Phoenix.
