Active violence events continue to result in numerous civilian casualties and have captured the attention of the nation. Public safety organizations throughout the country are developing new response paradigms to meet these challenges. This highly interactive, 2-day course will offer awareness-level integrated point-of-wound care instruction focused on dynamic active violence, all-hazards and/or explosive threats. The course is specifically designed for law enforcement and fire / EMS organizations and reflects the current NFPA 3000 guideline.

The workshop is approved by the Arizona Center for Fire Service Excellence (ACFSE) and includes 16 hours of Arizona Peace Officers Standards and Training (AZPOST) continuing training and 16 hours of medical continuing education. Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) certification will also be offered through the National Association of EMTs.

The training and CE is free, however there is a cost for individuals desiring ACFSE ($25.00) and / or TECC certification ($50.00).
